TO RUN SMOOTHLY, "RULES" ARE REQUIRED,

I CALL THESE BROTHER ROADKILL'S RULES
FOR COURTEOUS, FUN KARAOKE!

#1 Have consideration for your fellow singers, never go up
to the other mic and assume they want help with their song,
unless THEY invite you to directly.

#2 !!Never swing the Microphone by its cord!!, Several rock
stars have been known to do this, they can afford to replace
the Mic, and whatever it hits, You on the other hand,
probably CAN’T!!!

#3 Please refrain from using extremely graphic language
over the microphones.

#4 Please turn in only ONE song slip at a time, turning in
more could get you lost in the shuffle.

#5 It is not necessary to SCREAM into the microphone,
yelling only distorts the sound, and you might hurt yourself.

#6 Please take the time to fill out a song slip, I have over
8,000 songs listed in the books and can’t remember the
numbers to them all. or Gods forbid, all the titles or all the
Artists.

#7 Please do not come up to the stage and interrupt me
while I am introducing a new singer, please wait until they
have started, and I will speak to you off to the side.

#8 Please do not ask me to skip over other singers for any
reason, they have been waiting to sing also, And it is not
fair to ask anyone to wait longer because you have to leave
or whatever.

#9 APPLAUSE…It doesn’t cost anything but it means a lot
to those who get up there. Remember you are not clapping
to rate their talents, but their courage to perform.

#10  Last but not least, please treat the Bar personnel, and
Brother Roadkill with RESPECT. Remember you are here
to have a good time,
but we’re at work.

See Ya at the next show!!!!
